Barroom Philosophers Make Funk ‘n Waffles Their Own This Saturday!

barroomphil_fnwBarroom Philosophers will be headlining a night of reggae blues funk rock THIS Saturday night, 1/7, at Funk n’ Waffles downtown Syracuse with pals Boogie Low and the Infrared Radiation Orchestra. If you know the Barroom Philosophers, then you are aware of the reasons why they are one of the fastest rising bands in the CNY area and why they are gathering fans like a freakish game of Pokemon Go.

If you haven’t heard them play, then you’ve probably heard their name here and there and might be wondering, “So, what’s the big damn deal?” The Barroom Philosophers have an infectious and original sound with such a broad appeal, it is hard to find something NOT to like about them. As I stated from the onset – they are a rock, reggae, blues, funk fusion band. Yep, all of those!

If you have heard them play, you’re probably saying, “It’s about damn time!” –  Saturday’s performance will be the first time Barroom Philosophers headline a Saturday at Funk n Waffles, and they are bringing a couple of great supporting acts with them. They have a blazingly awesome full length album due to be released next month. Come on out Saturday night, find out what they’re all about, and show your support for the next hometown heroes that are destined for great things!

Doors at 8pm, Music starts at 9!

About George DiFabio

I am a MUSIC LOVER, born in CNY, always lived here. I used to claim I was born 25 years too late and missed music's greatest era, but have since discovered my niche in this digital age of music and found I am right where I belong. I have witnessed many a magical moment while enjoying music of the now.
