Boogie Low CD Release Party TOMORROW!

boogielowcdreleaseRough week. Stella blew (pun intended), lots of shows and events cancelled, states of emergency . . . We are done feeling the wrath of mother nature’s pimp slap and all of this hellacious weather culminates in a greatly anticipated CD release party of one the area’s more exciting reggae sensations. Boogie Low will be celebrating the release of their self titled debut album TOMORROW, Saturday March 18th, at the Westcott Theater. The album came out really well and Boogie Low have a lot to be proud of. Read our REVIEW of Boogie Low HERE.

You can’t have this kind of party without being surrounded by your closest friends. Of course Boogie Low invited their besties, Barroom Philosophers to open the show.

IMG_2103This collaborative phenomenon, known as the “Barroom Boogie,” has been growing wings lately and has really lent itself to some amazing musical moments. Bottom line – Boogie Low and Barroom Philosophers are great friends from the same small town, they are at the same level of success roughly, and they support each other as much as they support themselves. Each put on a KILLER show in their own right. Combine the two into a Barroom Boogie, and you better get a babysitter and put all other plans aside because magical musical shit is about to go down. Boogie Low’s new album is fire and the stage is set for burning down the house on Saturday night.

Doors at 7, music at 8, magic all night!
