Pigeons Playing Ping Pong Funk New York This Week

This week, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong bring their high energy psychedelic funk straight across New York State. They will appear at Rochester’s Flour City Station on Wednesday, March 29th. Thursday, March 30th they will be playing at The Haunt in Ithaca, all leading up to a pair of shows at the Brooklyn Bowl on Friday and Saturday, 3/31 and 4/1.

Pigeons have been edging their way up the ladder of success lately. Last week, I had pointed out that we are in the middle of a funk revolution and Pigeons are another band that are largely responsible for that. They released a live EP weeks back, titled The Great Outdoors Jam and expect a new studio album to release later this year. Each of these shows feature a great supporting act. Don’t miss it!
